Single Malt, Laphroaig 10 Yo, a veritable elixir.  I treat myself to a bottle a year and savor it!

I'll be careful how I word this (don't want to sound too presidential) . . . I'm partial to the 16 year old myself.

Well, one time at Geronimo in Santa Fe a friendly Bartender gave me a taste of the next Laphroaig in age that he had on the shelf, may have been that.  Glorious, but there is a limit to what I'll spend indulging my vices!

If you can't tell the difference, so sad, and more for me!

I'm more of a Jim Beam/Jack Danials kinda guy. At least for the first six or eight drinks. Then I can drink Scotch.

Any, well, nearly any, port in a storm.  If it has alcohol and isn't sickly sweet, or otherwise nasty, it will probably do in an emergency.

I consider it akin to dishwater. Never acquired a taste for Scotch or Gin. I don't disparage those who do; it's a free country.

An interesting point! that brings up a thought  I usually only drink Single Malt at home or one at a fancy dinner with my wife.  At group events, IPA, wine, or decent beer.
