I heard this the other day.

My concern is that the new terminology is going to be used to lump all semi auto rifles into the same evil talking point. 

Perhaps they were listening when we said modern sporting rifles weren't "weapons of war" and in reply said, "deal".

We must always be mindful of what we say as it can & will come back to bite us.  Remember these people who are proposing the laws  know little to nothing about the guns they want to ban.

Unfortunately, a copy of the stylebook costs $29, just wanted a quick look.

 

Back when I learned journalism (47 years ago), the goal was to write "who, what, when, where, why, and how in order of importance." Everything else was for the editorial page.

 

It is difficult to find true journalism today, almost all of it contains editorial content (opinion).
