Black Angus McPherson
Last night's empty wheelbarrow is now full to overflowing from rain last night. A friend a couple miles from here had his 8" rain gauge over flowing this morning. The Official measure near him was over 12" in the last 12 hours. The highways all around here were shut down due to flooding. Lots of pictures on the news this morning of cars abandoned on the highway with water up to, almost, the roof. I heard the storm last night, but, wow, I didn't think it was raining THAT much. We needed the rain, but it could have been spread out a bit more. More rain is forecast for the next three days.
