She was scanning and he was watching the screen, complaining about the prices. At one point he said "Remember back when that cost $0.27..."Those were the tail waggin' days" I thought "Tail waggin' days!", that's hilarious. Dusty Devil Dale Posted July 20, 2022 Share Posted July 20, 2022 I had to buy about a dozen galvanized 1-1/4" pipe fittings yesterday. I experienced acute sticker shock. The average cost of the simple elbows, short nipples and one "T" fitting was $9.22 ea at HD. I recall just a few years ago they were maybe $2-3 each.
