sassnetguy50
I’ve used tape for repair, never as a primary new material. Have you? https://www.duckbrand.com/stuck-at-prom/vote They must use Duck tape with other materials to make the prom tux or dress.

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Our gang has used it for a host of things: Repairing rad hoses; taping up BAD cuts with a female product as a compress bandage, to get the victim out to the Nurses station/clinic for treatment; repairing the Ceconite ripped on the wing and fuselage of our Super Cub so we could get it off a lake; repair a tent a branch fell on and ripped. Great stuff. Never leave home without it.

Pat Riot
Very creative, but can you imagine wearing anything made from duct tape then getting hot? It’s got to be uncomfortable. My wife bought me a duct tape wallet made by a coworker. It was a pretty nifty thing until it started to come apart due to heat and being sat on in my back pocket. This thing lasted about 3-4 weeks. One day I couldn’t get a credit card out of my wallet. That baby was stuck in there from tape adhesive and as I yanked it out the wallet kind of turned itself inside out. Luckily, I was at a store that sold wallets.
