Just as I was about to complain

About the oppressive 32% humidity, the temperature dropped, clouds rolled in and there has been a lot of really noisy thunder for the last 10 minutes. No rain yet. The lightning seems to be all cloud to cloud stuff which is good it we don’t get a soaking rain.

That's wild, the hail is visible in the picture as if frozen in place.B)

Actually that was about 10 minutes before the hail started. It’s just reflection off the really big rain drops. I didn’t know it was hail until the back door bell started ringing.

Yes, 32% is mind numbing! It’s usually around 15 here. :D

wish we could have some of that 15

I'd be elated with triple of that 15. 45% humidity would be great but it rains here way too much for that.

Enjoy the rain Bob, hope it wets it down good for ya'll.

Bob, we had a heat wave last week.  3-4 days of 100+ temps straight in a row.

Our humidity never got down to 28%.

Lowest I saw was 38% and it would climb into the low 70% range at night- on top of temps in the upper 70's to 80 degrees- so it never really cooled off.

I see anyone's less than 40% and raise you 67%.
When you step outside for just a few minutes your body starts raining like those produce misters at Winn-Dixie.

I lived in South Florida for 50 years. I know humidity well. I much prefer the dry climate here. :D

I remember Colorado Springs... VERY low humidity.
High altitude, where huffing and puffing is socially acceptable behavior.

We used to get the 2pm hail storm during the summer.
Waves of hail washing down the street in front of the house.
An hour later... all gone.

yes indeed yet about 30 miles north of me got a foot of rain last week/then the same foot of sunshine  , closed the hiway - really closed it and flooded their homes , they seldom if ever have had that happen , its farm country and there is no problem with a sudden event of half that but that much happiness in a couple hours put a damper on their days after , i got just shy of 6 and my basement got a little which also never happens at least in the last 32 years , its been an interesting year here with below zero winter hanging on till our two day spring then the 99-100 dead heat and 70-80% humidity of late summer right after that ,

the river has been in my yard a couple times now , it generally only does that once in the spring , ive not been able to mow the low land and it will need baling soon ,

im not really complainin but a little normal would be nice right about now ,
