THANK YOU FROM THE HI PLAINS HIGHWAYMEN

The Hi Plains Highwaymen would like to thank everyone that came to our annual match. We realize with the cost of fuel and the ammo situation it is a struggle to pick the matches that you can attend and we greatly appreciate that you all chose to come to our match. We hope everyone had a good time even though mother nature took a turn on us. We had great posse marshall's that kept everything going smoothly during the shooting and lots of help with everything else before and after the shooting. We couldn't do it without the outstanding members of this great SASS organization. We hope to see everyone again next year and we promise to put in our order for better weather sooner.

Thank You All Again

Mother Nature just sometimes puts a change on well laid plans. Sassy and I will plan to try it again. Match was well designed with good stages and target placement. Food was top shelve and visiting with friends is always the big winner.

Thanks to all the Wolfpack and Highwaymen for a match well done.

We left range around 10 Sunday morning at 61 degrees and pulled in driveway at home in NETx around 5:30 at 102.

The rain did have benefit hundreds of miles to the west where it doused two huge forest fires in New Mexico.  Santa Fe got more than two inches of rain.  The Black Fire in the Gila National Forest was doused so well that fire-fighting efforts there are almost ended.

The reports on the Wire and Facebook was that the Pampa match was a good match.  It's on my list of matches for the future.

High Plains Highwaymen put on a great shoot, again.  Mother Nature aside the stages were fun and fast, the posses had a blast and the club paid attention to so many fun details.  Targets were a great mix of up close and a bit further out.

The clean match pin coming in your packet and have to get “returned” was a fun twist. Ivy Wild walking through the crowd with popsicles in 100+ heat brought a whole lot of smiles to a whole lot of overheated shooters.
Pretty cool this club has been able to build a first class range and equally first class shoots in such a short time.  With all the awesome members they have this is only gonna get better.  If this shoot isn’t on your list it should be :-)
