Vietnam era gi towel??

Any pards know how big the GI regular towels were back in the Vietnam Era?

It just came up in conversation.

Howdy,

After a bunch of tries I came up with about the same.

All cotton which is supposed to dry better or faster...

I sure burned time finding this.

Sure we can.  we can discuss if they were gov issue mil spec or counterfeit army surplus.  Is the size designation before or after hemming. Are they the proper shade of white, green or tan. :P

And how badly worn are they? Any holes? unravels?

White ones were for garrison. OD ones for field. Don’t know what they issue these days.
