Pat Riot Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 I set my alarm for 4:30 today to get up and go out to see this. Here in SoCal the light pollution is so back the sky isn’t really even dark. Also, it seems that any celestial event also triggers a marine layer event and clouds block it. Murphy’s Law rules California in more ways than one. Today I got a little lucky. I could see: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and Venus. I tried taking a photo but iPhone’s suck for any low light photography. Still, it’s pretty darn cool. After this occurrence this won’t happen again for 20 years.
