That one depends.  Got a FoodSaver vacuum sealer a few years back.  It really did pay for itself in money saved.  See a good special on meat, say pork loin for 99 cents a pound or tri-tip at a buck and a quarter.  Buy a bunch, trim it up, portion it out, season with salt and pepper, vac pack and freeze.

Local company that specialized in lawn mowers, power equipment and outdoor furniture used to have the owner on local television.  His trade mark pitch was, "and we're gonna trade with you,  on easy terms".

A perpetual "save now...going out of business sale".

Some businesses have been "going out of business" for years.

Or:

Collector's item.

Today and today only.

The "experts" agree.

Rare item.

Priced below retail.

Limited edition.

1% mark-up.

Wholesale.

And, as the old song says: "They tell you to give a donation to the Lord, but they give you their address".

Can't forget the youtube commercials that all use the same music and tell you all about some grate technology that was banned by the military, Government or other entity. The device is always a revolutionary breakthrough that someone is trying to suppress.

Like the $5000 drone developed for the Navy Seals

These turn me away.

Woman owned business.

Minority owned business.

Christian owned business.

Veteran owned business.

To me those four slogans are saying I CAN'T MAKE IT SIMPLY ON MY ABILITY, SO I WILL TRY TO BEG PEOPLE TO BUY FROM ME BECAUSE I'M A WOMAN OR I'M BLACK OR I WAS IN THE ARMY OR I'M A CHRISTIAN.
