Heartbreaker in the 9th!

St Louis Cardinal's pitcher Miles Mikolas had a no-hitter going with two outs and then 2 strikes in the 9th. Guy hit a shot to center field with Harry Bader, a Gold-glover out there. He just couldn't make it quite there.

Once saw a game between the Dodgers and, I believe it was the Phillies!

Going into the 9th, the Dodgers were leading by 11 runs. The Phillies put up 11 in the top of the 9th and won the game in the,(IIRC) 11th!!

LaSorda nearly lost his everlovin’ mind!!

Yogi was RIGHT!!  “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over!”

Similar game in 1996 Cleveland Indians vs The Red Sox (I think) Indians were losing 10-1 and came back in the 8th and tied it, then won in the 9th! Awesome game!

Yup, it is still one of the most clean forms of entertainment to be had. And the class Mikolas showed as they headed off the field, he just grabbed Bader and hugged him. Nice to see there are still some classy athletes out there.
