Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903
I don't think unfired makes much difference here because we're going to shoot them. I would guess $1500 or so but I may be way lite? Randy
Geronimo Jim SASS # 21775
A third gen 357 with 4 3/4 barrel just sold for $3,025 on Gunbroker. No box or paperwork but it was unfired. Sold by Keystone Arms.
Cholla
My guess is close to $3,000. The ivory adds a grand to many buyers. The fact it is a custom shop and .45 makes it very desirable. And yes, not being fired will add appeal.

I would guess $1500 or so but I may be way lite? Randy The market for a Custom Shop Colt with ivory is through the roof right now. If the ivory letters with the gun, it could go even higher. $4,000 wouldn't be unheard of on GB. It is the most sought after caliber, in one of the most popular barrel lengths, with CCH, box, and unfired-- Buyers would go nuts.

Cholla
Here are a few that sold before the market started climbing. They have the fluted cylinder. But, the ship dates don't align. https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/79/313/colt-third-generation-horsepistol-special-edition-saa-revolver https://lsbauctions.com/21731/lew-horton-colt-single-action-army-horse-pistol-special-edition-45-revolver/ https://www.gunsinternational.com/guns-for-sale-online/revolvers/colt-revolvers---single-action-army---3rd-gen/colt-single-action-army-saa-horse-pistol-45lc.cfm?gun_id=100999293 I stick with the $4000 valuation in the current market. Goody, SASS #26190
From that 3rd site listed by Cholla. "Only 250 of these were made. 180 of the 250 had unfluted cylinders. Rare in that this is one of the few that were fluted (70). "
