Bailey Creek,5759 Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Took the Bolt out of my 73, today clean it. I can't get the firing pin spring out. I even straightened out a paper clip. Put a hook on one end to try and getting it out. Nothing is working. Has anyone had this problem. If you have what did you do, to get it out? Any sugestions! Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 A long (coarse thread) machine screw that you are SURE is a smaller diameter than the bore hole (and larger than the diameter of the firing pin) would catch the spring in several places and might pull it out.
