Worst Case Scenario Posted June 6, 2022 Share Posted June 6, 2022 Just about ready for my first practice session or monthly match (newbie) and wondered if the shoulder strap seen in picture (I had bought it for my Henry that I traded in) on my 1866 Yellowboy would just get in the way for CAS? Choctaw Jack Posted June 6, 2022 Share Posted June 6, 2022 You have no need for a"shoulder strap" or sling shooting the typical SASS stage. And yes it will most probably get in the way. It could,in fact , be a hazard.You dont need anything catching on props and facades and could cause an accident. A buttstock cover is a good idea ,and there are lots of vendors that would be glad to fix you up. Welcome to the game, and above all ,have fun and be safe.
