WTB Buttstock Leather for Uberti '66 Yellowboy

Recommended Posts

Just about ready for my first practice session or monthly match (newbie) and wondered if the shoulder strap seen in picture (I had bought it for my Henry that I traded in) on my 1866 Yellowboy would just get in the way for CAS? Opinions welcome and if anyone has a buttstock cover that would be better, I'd love to connect. Thanks all!

You have no need for a"shoulder strap" or sling shooting the typical SASS stage.

And yes it will most probably get in the way. It could,in fact , be a hazard. You dont need anything catching on props and facades and could cause an accident.

A buttstock cover is a good idea ,and there are lots of vendors that would be glad to fix you up.

Welcome to the game, and above all ,have fun and be safe.

What Choctaw Jack said ^ ^ ^.  It's also really easy to make your own if it doesn't have to be pretty. ;)

Ha ha you are correct, just watched a video and mine would not be pretty

I buy from Longhunter mainly :) , I try to leverage all the opportunity to support a good cowboy , a great shooter and a fellow Texan :)
