Here's an actress many may not even know, or remember. Linda Stirling. She starred in many "B" westerns and Serials, even being the star in several. There were big plans for her by RKO and other Studios, but typecasting ended up stopping that dream. She was also in many TV shows as a guest star. I was a big fan of hers and a honor for me and the wife to meet her many times.

How about this sweet little gunslinger from MONTANA INCIDENT, in 1952?

If she looks familiar but you can't quite place her, maybe this will help.

I found this cool.

In the first Chris Reeves Superman movie, young Clark Kent is going home from high school. He realizes he's late, so he's running. And he passes a train.

A little girl looking out the window saw him and tells her mother. "Mama, a boy just ran past the train." And naturally her mother told her, "Lois, quit imagining things". Young Lois Lane.

I don't recall which actress it was my wife looked up when I showed her this thread, but I made a comment something like, "Not quite an A List Leading Lady, but more than just an "Alsø wik."  A leading "Alsø wik" or maybe 'A Leading Lady of B Movies."    One that does come to mind is Glynis Johns, a darned good actress, very good looking lady, but rarely getting Leading Lady status.
