Subdeacon Joe
Wanted felon arrested by Property/Narcotics detectives. On May 11, 2022, detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Property/Narcotics Unit attempted to take Martin Stra-Smith, 40 years old, Rohnert Park, into custody for several outstanding warrants related to narcotics and firearm violations. Stra-Smith is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. When detectives attempted to detain Stra-Smith in his vehicle, he drove away at a high rate of speed. While doing so, Stra-Smith intentionally collided with a detective's car, causing damage. Stra-Smith was able to elude apprehension. Detectives then searched Stra-Smith's residence in Rohnert Park, where they located four firearms and ammunition. Since that incident, it is suspected that Stra-Smith has been in several pursuits with various law enforcement agencies throughout the bay area. Yesterday, at about 3:00 pm, detectives located Stra-Smith in the 600 block of Enterprise Drive, Rohnert Park, where he was taken into custody without incident. During a search of his car and residence, additional ammunition and narcotics were found. Stra-Smith was booked into Sonoma County Jail for three outstanding warrants and 245(c) PC (assault on a peace officer), 29800(a)(1) PC felon in possession of a firearm), 30305(a)(1) PC (felon in possession of ammunition) and 4573 PC (bring narcotics into jail). Megan Kidder, Stra-Smith's girlfriend, was also arrested and booked into county jail for 32 PC (accessory to a crime) and 245(c) PC (assault on a peace officer). Kidder has since bailed. Detectives obtained a bail enhancement for Stra-Smith of an additional $250,000. Additional charges against Stra-Smith are expected soon. Case No: 220511-002 Interesting collection of hardware. Delincuente buscado arrestado por detectives de propiedad/narcóticos. Rip Snorter
Three antiques which may or may not work and a cigarette lighter on the bottom - doesn't appear to be any ammunition that will fit the antiques. Odd collection. Maybe a storage locker somewhere.

I have none either. I see the arrest notices here every day. There are people I just look at now and know what should be done. I won't go any further in concern that I would be labelled a radical right winger.

bgavin
I am a strong proponent of Lead Therapy™ Applied in (to?) liberal doses, it is highly effective and a long term solution for intentional firearm crimes. Any intentional gun crime, i.e. armed robbery, car jacking, rape, attempted or completed shootings, BLM/ANTIFA riots and domestic terrorism, all qualify. Convict the perp beyond ALL doubt, then give him a swift execution. No delays.. no lawyer tricks... no excuses about being raped by his priest, a bad childhood or having 12 personalities. A public execution would be even better. This might deter the smart ones, and the stupid ones will only do it once. But then < poof > I woke up from that wonderful dream, and realized it won't ever come about. A pity.
