Matt Blasterson, 112488
I can’t believe someone here knows the Refreshments! Betty Grable is one my staple tunes when I wield my brushcutter. To attend one of their concerts, in Sweden, where the crowd’s all jitterbugging has been a bucket list item of mine for a long time. Thanks for getting my foot tapping! Pat Riot
Thanks @Lawdog Dago Dom Love that music! My Dad took piano lessons as a kid. Much to my Nanny’s (grandmother) chagrine he came away with a talent for playing Boogie Woogie and not much else.
Forty Rod SASS 3935
You'd think those guys would burn out a finger joint or several. Kind of reminds me of the guy who did the keyboard work with ABBA. Fast!
Matt Blasterson, 112488
This is my brush cutting tune. I guess it’s the tempo that marries so well to my stroke, but the lyrics are “crafty” and the baritone sax just drenches the tune in Nitty Gritty. Hope you all enjoy! Matt Blasterson, 112488
Welp, since it’s Saturday Night and the thread’s still rockin’, one more Refreshments tune won’t hurt. If you find Sweet Little Lisa on a jukebox in the US, it’s likely Dave Edmunds w/Albert Lee. In Europe, it’ll be Albert Lee and the Refreshments. Our piano man is still pounding it out
Doc Shapiro
Here's a father/daughter duet. I quite enjoyed it. She's pretty comfortable behind the kit.

Matt Blasterson, 112488
Wow. There’s nothing missing to the ear, it’s like the upright bass is there, only it’s not. Who is the Dad? Tell me someone that good isn’t a stock broker by day and he’s just helping his daughter out at her drum recital.

He's an Austrian Blues/Boogie Woogie piano player with quite a name in the area. His daughter Sabine Pyrker is the drummer. She's quite talented. Both are professional musicians.
