Like every eclipse so far! Over cast. It went dark, but couldn't see it.

I fell asleep but it was cloudy here anyway. There's another in November.

I considered staying up for it, but I start work at 05:00. I get up at 02:45.

Before I went to bed at 8:00 I looked outside and the marine layer was moving in so I went to bed.

It never fails here in SoCal along the coast. If the is an astronomical event it WILL be cloudy.

Excellent pictures.  I'm wondering why it was so red like predicted in Colorado but not red here in south Georgia.

Here’s some good info. Scroll to see the “red” explanation.

Everything suffers in comparison to the red Georgia clay! ;

All I saw was a serious thunder storm with LOTS of lightning.

A good ol' Texas thunderstorm can trump an eclipse ANY day~!  ^_^  :lol:
