Dusty Morningwood Posted May 6, 2022 Share Posted May 6, 2022 SOLD This antique Henri Pieper SxS 10 Gauge is in overall Good condition. Pieper was a well known Belgian firearms manufacturer. The ELG in circle proof with no crown on underside of barrels means 1893 or earlier. It has a Very Good Twist Steel pattern on its 30" barrel. Fixed brass bead front sight. The barrels have the patented Pieper steel breeches and muzzle rings for added strength. The bores have several areas of roughness - should clean to Good or better. Very shootable with proper black powder loads. Good walnut stocks with loss of chip at toe of buttstock. More aesthetics than function. Checkering is good, but slightly worn.
