Around here we have: snakes - copperheads, rattlesnakes, cotton-mouth moccasins, and coral snakes, that are poisonous. For spiders, we have two: black widow, and the brown recluse. Further west, they have: Gila monsters (lizards), and a poisonous scorpion. That's about it. You guys down there win the prize. Makes me kinda glad my son did not marry that girl from Queensland.
