Warden Callaway
My gunsmith buddy in Ten Sleep, Wyoming sent me a picture of a couple of Cattleman he refinished. Real color case really makes them pop. Fire blue the screws and some other parts. Refitted the grips. Color case the hammers too. Rip Snorter
Wonderful! Have come across his work before, I've thought of driving down there sometime with a project. Obviously good hands.

Waxahachie Kid #17017 L
Several years ago, I had a Pietta worked on, in a similar way. However, I went a step further, and had him re-do the writing on the side of the barrel to read ".45 Colt", instead of "Cal 45 LC", or something even longer. I do not understand why Pietta insists on doing their revolvers this way, even including their cap & ball revolvers. Looks like it would be more cost efficient, as well as better looking, if they went the more historical type of description of the caliber, on the barrels. Uberti does it (I have an Uberti that says: "44 WCF", and that's all), in many cases, so why can't they do it, as well? Pietta makes (now) quality stuff, but they need to go a step further...I.M.H.O. Never-the-less, these two revolvers do look great. My Two Bits. W.K.
