I used to work on ABB robots 17 years ago and at that time they didn’t do a thing without a program that gave direction on what to do, how to do it, and how to get to each location. They certainly were not safe enough to walk around like the guy was in the video. They occasionally lost their place and would slam into machinery. We placed cages around them to keep people out. The cage doors had emergency stop interlocking switches. I suspect most of it was CGI. And the only way to see a laser beam is when it is in a dusty environment or when it is impacting something.
