Trigger Mike
I saw that you can get a short picatinny with sling swivel for mounting a bipod on a m1a. I had read one place it was only for a wood stock model, but other places had comments otherwise. I decided to get one. The Original mounts the screws outside the stock. The aftermarket swivel with picatinny mounts them inside the stock. Once I mounted them, the rifle will not properly fit together and thus won't function in my black synthetic stock. I had hoped to mount a flashlight since it comes with a night sight front sight. Is there another way to mount a flashlight on the socom m1a? This is the one with the normal stock, not the pistol grip stock.

Trigger Mike
Mine didn't have any instructions at all, but the screws are too short to mount outside.
