Dantankerous
Sacs and Presidential dollars can usually be found at banks. Real gold dollars? Provident Metals, JM Bullion, etc... Currently a gold double eagle (pre 1933 for historical interest) will be quite pricey. But awesome to have in your hand. Lots of coinage dollar amounts available too. $10, $5, $2.50, and I believe $1. As the face value decreases the size of the coin diminishes In relationship to the lower amount of precious metal used. This should be figured by weight.

I emptied the change machine one night just to have bags of gold dollars because I think they're neat.

Notice how the price of a Double Eagle and the price of a finely tuned and short stroked CAS '73 rifle have been tracking pretty closely?
