Graf's primer problem.

Grafs is a major distributor.  But for two years they have not had a single goddam primer in stock (a few shotgun now and then).  I have contacted them re. this, but no response.  Anybody know anything?

This has been the case at every major and minor supplier since early 2020. It will most likely remain this way into 2023.  Just don’t get desperate and fall for the fake websites popping up that promise unlimited primers at 2019 prices.

All makers and all sources for purchasing primers has been non-existent since early 2021. Based on responses from the makers 2023 may be the earliest we'll see large numbers back on the shelves.

They probably didn't respond because they've been doing it for 18 months!

Umm…that is not correct!

I’ve been selling primers for a couple months now and I have plenty!!

What I don’t have is CHEAP primers. Or maybe the brand you prefer.

But I’m selling them at cost. What more can I do?

My comment was based on whats been posted here and other sites. There has been a few E mails from manufacturing confirming what I posted! One vendor with primers doesn't necessarily represent whats going on nation wide.

And Tell bought them at a gun show, not from an online supplier. I can go buy 1960s primers of dubious quality at a local gun store right now. I can also find them at local gun shows at $150 per thousand. Not the same.

If you saw the miniseries "Band of Brothers" you would probably know what Currahee means. I have read a couple of books written by Donald Burgett who was in Co A of the 506th. His first book is titled "Currahee".
