Gracos Kid
Funny how a misplaced comma can change the entire meaning of a message..... Man was sick and decided he'd better text his wife to come back from a distant trip to visit her family. Thus his message: "Not getting any, better come home quick" ... DocWard
Which opens up a can of worms from a grammar standpoint. The MLA Style Manual says that if an incomplete sentence follows a colon, it shouldn't be capitalized, unless it is a proper noun. However, it also states that a rule or a principle should be capitalized, which would suggest that it should be written as "Without her, man is nothing," as arguably this is a principle. So, I'll leave it up to everyone here to ask their wives if the women were guilty of bad grammar. Meanwhile, I will never let Mrs. Doc see this. Discretion: The better part of valor.
