HOW many M14 magazines you can get in a 50 caliber can?

10 fills up a 30 caliber can real good, and nine is all you can get in a Harbor freight plastic 30 caliber can.

But every time I think I have found all of mine, I come across a couple more. And since I have a couple of empty fifties, I was thinking about moving them out of the 30s and toINTO the 50s.

And yes, I can just take himTHEM out of the 30s and put them in the 50 and see if they fit, but if somebody already knows whether or not I can get x amount in there, then I don't have to do it.

Lazy people pick other people's brains.

Okay, I just tried. 16, with a bunch of wasted space.

And since I appear to have 21, I will put 10 each in two GI 30s, and stick the other one in the rifle. B)

Since you “appear” to have 21, I will bet that in time more will come out of the woodwork.

Another one showed up last night.

I was thinking the same thing. After I got burgled a couple of years ago I thought I only had four, but they kept appearing.

Maybe the burglar is on the payment plan for making restitution.

Since you guys are finding all these "extra" mags, if you don't want to mess with the fifty cans I'll gladly take you extras mags and give them a good home! I have plenty of .50 cal ammo cans...even here in Kaliforny!

Thanks Pards

Extra magazines, or extra 50 caliber cans? You need to be specific.

He lives in Kaliforny so he can't have either one of them.  Ammo cans are the gateway drug to high capacity magazines.

Two too many eh's. You used the British Columbia inflection. He's from Alberta, eh.
