Nickel City Dude Posted March 27, 2022 Share Posted March 27, 2022 I also use my reloads for carry. I figure that I should always carry the same ammo that I practice with. I know that there are some that think that if you have to use your gun in self defense the prosecutor will say you make your ammo more nasty then factory and are therefor blood thirsty and mean. I don't think that this argument will hold much weight with the jury if you can prove that no matter what bullet you used you were justified in using it. I haven't had to shoot a varmint yet, so though I know they work, no idea on efficacy. I always have 17 on my person and with whatever bullet, if I can't work things out...
