Show me your butt! (stock)

While counting down the days until a possible deal I can make next month, i've been looking at recoil pads/butt stock covers online. Amazon doesn't have too many that look all that decorative, so i'd like to see what custom touch people here have put on theirs to get ideas and inspiration for my own things. Share pictures if you have them and maybe where/who made them if you like.

@Yul Lose man those are seriously gorgeous eye candy, do you know how much they cost?

I had one made by him and it's on its way to me now. Every job is liable to be different but mine was just a little north of 100. The knife sheath and ammo slide are not included in that amount

They vary depending on what you want. DD is really good at listening to what you want and then bringing it to life on your buttstock. The cover with the rattlesnake is embossed and the snake body is actually about 5/8” above the rest of the cover, my pictures don’t show that to well.

I like the original crescent shaped butt plates. No padding needed if you know how to shoot them.

@Chili Pepper Kid, SASS #60463 what brand is that stainless hammer double? Don't see too many of those anymore.

It's not stainless. It's a TTN from Cimarron with their antique finish. https://www.cimarron-firearms.com/products/custom-shop/custom-finishes-rifles.html

I bought a Rossi '92 .44-40 some years back that someone had "skeletonized" the stock by cutting a big hole in it, and no butt plate, just a piece of leather tacked on. I hammered out a new butt plate from a piece of flat steel, and fitted & glued a piece of juniper into the hole.
