LQ Jones
Looking for a unicorn to match up with one I have.... 1851 Navy conversion .38 Type 1 Richards with 7 1/2" octagonal barrel made by Armi San Marco. These were around in the 80s and 90s, and were marketed by Traditions, Navy Arms, and EMF I believe. They can be identified by the rear sight & firing pin on the conversion ring, flat faced hammer, and silver-plated brass trigger guard & back strap. I've attached some pictures of mine for identification purposes. Anybody got one they'd sell or trade? LQ
Long Gun Preacher
Sir. Do you mean an 1860 Army Richards type 1 conversion by ASM in 38? If so I have one I might be willing to part with. I bought unfired and put maybe 20 rds thru
Long Gun Preacher
Sorry sir. Realized mine does not have octagonal bbl and is slightly dif. Apologies
LQ Jones
No worries. Those are neat pistols also; I think the problem would be in that my existing has the shorter Navy grip, so I'm looking to match up with that one first.
