I was loading some ammo this morning and thought “What was the no. 1 music hit the day I was born. It turns out it was “Will you sill love e tomorrow” by the Shirelles.

Here’s a nifty link where you can put in your birthday and it will tell you the number one hits by country.

Here’s mine:

EDIT:

Here’s one that goes back before 1946.

Last date they have is 11 years after I was born.

I'm getting old.

If I have to.

I guess!

Beats the alternative though!

Fun idea! That link doesn't go back to days when dinosaurs roamed.  Talk about luck! Don't Fence Me In and /or I Walk Alone

It doesn't go back far enough for me.  It only goes back to 1946

George Clooney's aunt Rosemary, "Come On-a My House."

I'm bummed.  :(

That flashes me back to being a very small boy - my folks had a 78.  At the same time, my favorite was The Green Eyed Dragon with the thirteen tails. Can almost hear both of them.  I may still have yours on 78 with nothing to play it on!  Case of old records in the junk room. Memories!  Look at it this way, that song isn't PC today! Holy cow, the dragon song is still out there on the internet!

Battle of New Orleans by Johnny Horton. Interesting nostalgia.

howdy- I hate to be the wet blanket, but this is a clever "birthdate farm" for hackers and fraudsters. The less of your personal info you put out into the ether, the better. Once they have your B. Day, they follow your werb path and pick up the other stuff they need to pull an internet caper and leave YOU holding the bag. Just saying.

Seriously? You put in a date, nothing else and I doubt they’re tracking your ISP. If you’re worried delete your history and cookies and move on.

I found the one that goes earlier than 1946 but, the earliest song is 1956.  I guess songs were not invented yet when I was born.
