As Pretty a Pair of Main Match Revolvers as you will find anywhere!

I have two sets of main match revolvers.: two 1851 Pietta .36 with Kirst .38 long Colt Konverters,  (First Picture)

The prettiest ones, though, are my two Pietta 1860s with .45 Kirst Konverters.  An 8" with the Saber River engraved cylnder and ejector assembly, and the 3" 1860 Avenging Angel, also with a Saber River engraved cylinder.   (Second Picture)

Third Picture is  before  the 3"  had the cylinder engraved:

I load .45 Schofield brass with 5.5 grains of Trail Boss and either a 200 grain or 230 grain round nose .45 ACP bullet.

Thanks.  Bear Creek bullets is working on a 150 grain round nose, flat point hollow base bullet that will work in unlined 1851 barrels (.375" bore) so you won't have to load heeled bullets or hollow base wadcutters.  The two 1860,  though, are my main shooters.  Both are natural pointers, and gobble up my .45 Schofield loads.
