Dusty Morningwood
SOLD Have a possibly unfired Belgian Centennial Centaure 1860 Army in case with flask and cap tin. I am pretty sure it is a put together set. Revolver is extremely clean inside chambers and barrel. Virtually nothing comes out on Q Tips and patches, so not oiled after shooting and cleaning. I have not disassembled it, as I do not believe wedge has ever been removed. Backstrap, muzzle and trigger guard show finish loss from, I assume, box wear. Grips are Excellent. Came out of a defunct Civil War store in CA. Whole set $625 + Shipping. Revolver alone $525 + Shipping. Will consider selling case and flask separately. cowrustler
Dusty, I've had a couple of these and still have one. They are great shooters and very well made. I can remember when they were commonly found in gunstores back around the Civil War centennial- wish I'd have picked up a bushel of them. Supposedly made on Belgian equipment under license from Colt dating back to civil War times, cowrustler
