What happened?!

Got up from closing the release valves, to start the water test...turned and started walking...straight into the bedroom slide!!!

Where we have it here at the house, the slide is just at the top of my head!

Had to holler to the daughter to come help me. It really rang my bell!!

And boy, do head injuries bleed!!!

If you know Susie...you also know that staples would NEVER work...

Glad you didn't get hurt any worse. Did it bleed worse than my arm a couple years ago???

As soon as you said 5th wheel and I saw the injury, I knew exactly what happened.  Our travel trailer slide is pretty low to the ground so I have to work at banging my head into it.  Pool noodles are your friend when it comes to 5th wheels.  I hope you heal up quickly.

Oh yes! I thought it was worse than it was, from the amount of blood running down the front of my face!!!

I scared the kids when they saw my red hand!!!

I have been accused of leading with my head a few times, are helmets appropriate for maintenance purposes?

OUCH! Are you okay now?

I am doing good this morning.

Vision and balance is good...still no nausea.

I am a bit suprised at how sore my shoulders and kneck are...well, stiff more than sore.

My biggest worry? Found a glob of glue...and I mean a GLOB...about an inch lower than the wound. It is about 1/2" long...and has quite a bit of hair attached to my scalp.

If the daughter can't soften it enough with acetone...I may be having to get creative with my hair style!!!:D

That might have smarted a little.

Hope you don't have too bad of a headace.

I did holler out!

Headache has subsided...think a hot pad on the shoulders...

Tomorrow should have me normal (well...you know what I mean) !!!

You broke your cheeky thing!? :o

Good you keep your sense of humor about it.  Do have someone check it every day for signs of infection.

We are watching it close.

As I said, we drowned it in Betadine...and Brodie pinched it closed while Shanley poured the glue! (Hence her hairy fingers)

I have glued several deep wounds over the years...I believe in Betadine and closing them up quick!
