Signed papers and finalized things. Memorial service June 25 at our family Church, St. Aidan's Anglican. Thanks for all the kind words, prayers and thoughts. Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted June 12, 2022 Share Posted June 12, 2022 I picked up her things from the LTC home and realized some of the things I brought in, for her to wear in bed, still had the price tags on them. Sherron had a lot of clothes hung in the closets at our home. It occurred to me that there were other woman who could use them. I have been removing the name labels from the ones that came from the LTC home and sorting through her others, bagging some of them for a trip to St. Georges and their Women's Shelter, "The Well" and the rest to the Anglican Cathedral, where they have a free store. Saw some "No Sugar Added" Ice cream in her favourite flavours and had to stop myself from buying it. (Even when she was in the hospital, then LTC, I used to buy things as treats for her or to tempt her appetite.) Had similar things happen as I wandered through the store. Good thing I had a list. Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 We are having a Memorial Service this Saturday. I had her wedding band placed with her today, along with a love note. She'll be placed next to my Mother and Father in our family plot, in a small cemetery nearby, that also has a number of family and friends.
