It’s not 2/2/22 today here, either! Still 2/1/22 where I’m sitting!!

 ..... even if it's Wednesday ....

But 2/22/22 in three weeks is a Twos-day.  There won't be another double digit date matching the year until 2/22/2222.  Don't know if it falls on a Tuesday or not.  Too much trouble to find out.

It’s a real TWOS day on a Tuesday!  It’s also a past President’s (George Washington) birthday that we used to celebrate before they started all this Monday holiday stuff!!

When MLK day was added there would have been too many federal holidays so Lincoln’s and Washington’s Birthday holidays were collapsed into President’s day.

And the list keeps growing:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/lunar-new-year-would-become-the-12th-federal-holiday-under-a-bill-before-congress/ar-AATnkOS

"Lunar New Year, being celebrated Tuesday, could become the United States’ newest federal holiday under a bill proposed by Rep. Grace Meng, a significant step to recognize a day honored by many East Asian communities around the world.

If the measure passes, Lunar New Year would become the 12th federally commemorated holiday. The count remained at 10 for nearly four decades with the commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday in 1983. That changed in June, when President Biden signed a bill establishing Juneteenth as a federal holiday."
