"Kolomeyka" seems to be a regional style of Ukrainean dance. A lot of people of Eastern European heritage grow up with folk dance at just about every occasion and so are fairy accomplished at it. This. Those folks probably been doin' that kind of dancin' since they were knee-high to a colt. Turn the camera around and you'd likely see a bunch of kids foolin' around with the same dance moves somewhere. A touch of vodka probably plays into it just a bit as well.
