thespaniard
I bought a Stoeger very recently from the forum. The gun came in without any problem. The gun has double trigger and lightened spring and champered and safety delete. Now I started practicing it with snap caps and after sometime the first trigger will not click. I presumed it was the notorious firing pin so I replaced both the firing pins with Longhunter firing pins. Still the damn first trigger will not click These are all dry fire scenarios and I didn’t fire a live round yet. Any advice if someone has seen this problem before will be helpful. Diamond Jake
I had the problem once in a monthly match, on stage 4 of 5. I had a backup shotgun for stage 5. I cleaned and inspected the gun and found nothing wrong. Several dry fire sessions, two monthly matches, and about 50 shots messing around on New Years Eve (daytime shooting session with buddies) and it never happened again. I'm gonna keep carrying a backup shotgun but use the Stoeger and see if I can make it happen again.
thespaniard
My first trigger won’t click any more so I reckon it’s a permanent situation now till fixed.
Ripsaw
Your trigger won't "click?" You mean the right barrel's hammer won't drop? Or the hammer will not cock? Or it operates silently? Hard to tell what you mean.
Flanigan Flats
Does not sound like it is getting cocked when you open the barrels to me.
