Having grown up in Georgia, I still didn't realize until years later what a huge bullet I dodged by picking SD in late winter! Yikes! And I complained about the nighttime temps in SD.

I have an older outdoor thermometer. it has Celcius and what this old grump can understand before his third coffee.

It was Fahrenheit. 

A bit warmer here today, but a blizzard right now.

I'll fire up the snow blower later, when it stops then again once the plows go by.
