Help us update our Cowboy Gunsmith reference list.
If you know of a Cowboy Gunsmith who has an extensive background working on our guns and/or modifications for our game.  Let me know and I'll update the list.   Also, if a gunsmith on the list has retired, let me know so I can take them off.  This is what I have so far...

Any Aussies ?

I put entries on the list as I get input.  So far, just these on the list from the U.S. and one from Canada.  Come on folks there must be some good gunsmiths in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe!   What about the States missing from the list?  Anybody?

GA - Fast Eddie

TN - Curly Bill (best kept secret in gunsmiths)

Curly Bill is indeed one of the best smiths anywhere with just about EVERY firearm.

BUT.....he prefers NOT to be listed on any listing because he stays too busy to take on new work.

One heck of a nice guy too.

I will never forget what he did for me.

I don't doubt he's busy all the time.

My understanding is that a full fledged gunsmith is also a machinist withe the ability to use lathes, mills etc. to build parts or alter guns as required for most types of guns. In SASS and other shooting sports there are smiths who specialize in a limited number of types of guns that they work on. But by specializing they know these guns inside and out and can do top notch work on those guns.

I've found it's best to find those smiths who specialize in whatever gun it is you want them to work on. Cowboy guns, 1911s, S&W revolvers, CZ75s, etc.
