Really sharp Cheddar is better!! Isn't Pepper Jack that Aussie dude that joins us now and again? I have biscuits and gravy about four times a week. Much simpler. Home made with Williams gravy mix and JD link sausages over Pillsbury Frozen southern style biscuits. Coffee by and a big dash of original Tabasco. OOORRRR... I go to Cafe 10, Sally B's, Jamie's Waffle House, or the Dinner Bell. Some times I have a few slices of bacon and sometimes I'll get sausage, and I ALWAYS get either orange juice or orange juice and apple juice 50 / 50 mix. It's my "sin" since I gave up tobacco, alcohol, wild women and picking fights. Once in awhile I make the same biscuits or toast and put Stouffer's chipped creamed beef and shedded sharp cheddar over them with Tabasco and get a really passable SOS instead. Forty Rod SASS 3935
Today I got two jars of handcrafted orange marmalade from Lefty McGovern back in Upland, California. Now I gotta tell you that I love orange marmalade in general, but Lefty's is the best. I also got a few jars of Damson Plum jam from Blackwater a few years back and some Cinnamon Pear at Mortimer Farms down the road a piece.....and the race is on.
