Badger Mt. Charlie has crossed over

Those of you who don’t visit the Saloon may be unfamiliar with BMC!

He was a great cowboy and a treasure to SASS.

He passed on today and we are diminished by his passing.

I knew him through our Saloon banter. I always enjoyed our communiques.

Very sad news indeed. Condolences to family and friends. RIP, BMC. May flights of angels sing you to your rest.

I remember him for all his pithy Saloon posts, never had the good fortune to meet him. RIP cowboy.

When our son was stationed at Fort Lewis, I had hoped to meet up with Charlie during my visit.  We chatted on the phone night but he couldn't get way to meet in in person. He was a very nice man and a fun saloonatic.
RIP Badger

He was one of the first to welcome me here. You will be missed.

The gentleman who called to give me the sad news said that they would probably have some sort of memorial in the spring and that he would be sure to furnish me the details.

I will pass them along when I get them.

For now, I’ll just picture Charlie and Zeb settin’ on the bank of some fast running stream, swappin’ lies over a jug of “peach squeezin’s”!

Haven't spent much time in the Saloon these last few years, but I will remember him and his posts to this day.  He will certainly be missed around these parts.

Ride peacefully in the big range in the sky until we meet again (for the first time in person)!
