Our youngest son can not carry a tune.

He can't HEAR a tune.

We told him drum or keyboards!!!

I played drums for a living for 30 years, gave lessons too. I would up learning piano tuning which has been my business since 1986. I also play guitar but not very well. Your son can learn to sing if he had the desire. That’s 90% of it. That’s what I think anyway .

We don't have a choir, at the Cowboy Church. Just the country band...composed of: keyboard, guitar, electric guitar, fiddle, bass, sometimes a steel guitar.

Of course, we are not like a main-stream church...thankfully.

We do have a couple of congregational songs, and also, members of the band will sing, as well.

But no choir, no robes, no collection plate, no alter call.

We baptize folks in a horse trough, at the front of the church.

The concrete floor was purposely stained brown, in the event a cowboy turned over his spit cup.

We wear our cowboy hats, unless we pray...or no hat, or a baseball cap...your choice. Boot, jeans, tennis shoes, or barefooted...again, your choice.

No Handel's Messiah here. Sorry.

Our motto: come as you are...leave changed.

There is no surround sound like standing in the middle of a hundred voice chorus!

I found losing the HYMNS, we have lost much more. Saddens me.

Absolutely. I do not sing, but this is the type music we have at our church.
