Grandkids are challenging...especially when you share a home, and one is Autistic.

But they are a blessing...

Desmund is able to speak clearer and use more words/phrases everday.

Some are suprisingly clear and funny.

I smiled just now, where he asked his mom for black chips (bbq chips packaging is mostly black bag, where Doritos is blue for ranch and red for cheeto)and came and sat on the bench...then he asked his Bella to 'sit with me'

Anyone that has an opportunity to be around an autistic child, needs to watch the t.v. movie: "Temple Grandin". The DVD is available on-line.

It is a true story, and is really well done.

The end of the movie is especially poignant.

Oh...gotcha!

Yup...strong on Easter here as well.

And, like Christmas time...we have several birthdays that circle Easter.

I have only one grandson.

I wish I had more.

You are very blessed, Miss Sue.

The reward, of their presence, is truly a gift.

You are so right. I am beyond blessed with #10 on the way, any day now.

We have 9 living.

Ty-Ty (Tenneson) would be 2.5 this Christmas. I definately KNOW what a blessing they are, and I cherish EVERY.SINGLE.MOMENT.
