So far I've had 3 of potentially 6 Chemos. I set two records at the Amador Sutter Hospital. Not the good kind. They were a 0.001 and 0.000 WBCs. I felt much better after a blood transfusion. I was in on planning/executing both their 50th anniversary celebrations. Well done, dear heart, proud of you! You received a unit of blood. So did my wife. Amigos pistoleros, pardon me while I step away from Miz Mo and step up onto a peach crate to do some good old fashioned street corner preachin'. (ahem) I give blood regularly -- my type is really rare and is used for babies in crisis -- if you're able, please donate blood! My wife received donated blood. Miz Mo received donated blood. I will never know who received the blood I've donated, I'll never know who donated the blood that kept my wife alive, but I know this: It saves lives. They take you seriously when neutropenic* and fall 5 times on the way to the Infusion Center* (*not my favorite new medical terms). Thank you all who posted, PMed, emailed, reacted to anything posted here! PS I will try to read anything on this thread; replies may be scarce. A SASS regional My home club shoot , a three day shoot on Vancouver Island by Victoria then up Island for the SASS Canadian Nationals... All in just over 5 weeks ...
