Waimea Posted November 17, 2021 Share Posted November 17, 2021 One of our Pards here in Punta Gorda crossed the River yesterday. Clay Dalton was a quiet man. One of those types that is hard to get to know in the beginning but is well worth the effort. He travelled with Preacherman up to the Tennessee State match last month and he told me he had a great time. He and his wife were High School sweethearts. They grew up together on Long Island but moved to Florida when they were in their 30s. I asked if he was in witness protection. He was a huge asset to the Punta Gorda club. He was always there early for set up and even cheerful about it. Although I didn't know him a long time I considered him a good friend and he will be sorely missed. Rest well Cowboy.
