Shot my first away CAS match yesterday

Shot my first away CAS match yesterday (Sunday) at a club a little North of us. Pretty much my first real CAS match as we're still getting our range and targets etc up to scratch. Learnt sooooo much, scoring, range procedure, spotting, the loading table, the unloading table..... it was such a great day. A bunch of us from our club went up and we could not have met a friendlier bunch of cowboys! The Southern Regulators are a super helpful and just down right obliging hospitable bunch. We shot four stages and my last one was clean, I was happy with that! T'was a big day, I slept well last night and a nice sleep in this Monday morning!

Looking forward to having the Southern Regulators on our range soon.

Congrats!

I'm trying to get around to shooting at my first. I understand about the nerves, LOL.

As Pat said to me in a PM......"Don't worry about nerves" and he was right :)

I'm Santa on the left and Doc Mustang on the right (he's a veterinarian and good friend and good for quick patch ups :) ) and my wonderful wife Jenorado in the second photo.

Yes Wallaby .....NRC, was a member there for 10 years in the '90's but let my membership lapse when we got smallbore on our range licence.

Squints is going to be bringing his Winnebago (he showed us through it, he's got that set up nicely!) down to our range very soon :)
