Tarheel Doc Posted November 14, 2021 Share Posted November 14, 2021 I have a CZ coach gun with a firing problem. Trying to figure out this issue. When I fire the first barrel the firing pin for the second barrel indents the primer on the second shell but does not allow me to shoot the second barrel. Snakebite Posted November 14, 2021 Share Posted November 14, 2021 I would look at the small spring that fits on top of the left cam that has the sear cut into it. It sounds like it has been made weaker by someone "tunning" the gun, and the hammer is falling off when the right barrel fires. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Johnny Meadows,SASS#28485L Posted November 14, 2021 Share Posted November 14, 2021 It would be my guess that the second barrel is not cocking and firing the first barrel gives enough recoil to overcome the return spring on the second firing pin, thus marking the primer on the second barrel. Tarheel Doc Posted November 14, 2021 Author Share Posted November 14, 2021 Yes when dry firing both pins fall. I took the stock off and watched as I pull the trigger. It operates as it should then.
