Kirst Conversion Cylinders

I’ve been using Taylor’s and Company (Howell) conversion cylinders in my Old Armies and the little cutout on the chamber allows me to see which chamber is empty at the loading table, looking at the firing pin position is another way but sometimes looking at the firing pin is not reliable. On a Kirst conversion cylinder how do you tell which chamber is empty?

I take a Dowl Rod , Put it down the Barrel . When it is empty .

Mark it Green, put a Cartridge in it then mark it Red .

Load one .

Skip one.

Load four.

Cock gun and lower on the empty chamber .

It works every time .
