Anyone using Bullseye for CAS .38 loads? If so, got a good recipe with 120's?

Thx...

I used 4.5 gr (four point five grains) of Bullseye with 125 grain in both .38 & .357 cases before I ran out and switched to Cleanshot. You could probably back it down to 4.0 (Four point zero)

I use BE in the Cowboy .45 Special, with 4,2 grains under a 175 grain slug.   I'm sure in .38 you can use a fair amount less than that with excellent consistency and accuracy.

good luck, GJ

I’ve shot thousands with 3.0 bullseye. It’s a good powder for our game. I’ve never found it to be position or temperature  sensitive.  Does not come close to filling case, so be careful not to double charge. I’ve used regular and magnum primers, no difference.

I shoot 105s in my pistols, 130s in rifle, both same powder charge of 3.0.

2.7 grains of Bullseye under a 158 grain bullet works dandy on pistol knockdowns.  Yes, clubs here still use pistol knockdowns.

Thanks Roscoe Regulator... I couldn't find reference for Bullseye for .38s in any of the books. Appreciate the input.
